We’re proud to share that the Toronto Region Maternal and Child Health Network (TMCHN) was recently profiled by the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health (PCMCH) in a feature highlighting how regional networks and BORN Ontario are working together to drive evidence-informed quality improvement.
As one of six regional maternal-child health networks in Ontario, TMCHN is an active member of the Regional Networks Operational Forum (RNOF). Through this forum, TMCHN collaborates with PCMCH, Ontario Health, and BORN to strengthen local planning, align with provincial priorities, and improve care across the maternal, newborn, and child health continuum.
A key highlight of the profile was the use of regionalized BORN data. TMCHN has leveraged this data—covering over 50 maternal, infant, and midwifery indicators—to identify opportunities for improvement, support cross-hospital collaboration, and guide quality initiatives tailored to the needs of Toronto’s families.
We’re honoured to be recognized as a leader in this work and remain committed to advancing high-quality, equitable care through data-driven collaboration.
