Meet Eme Stevenson, TMCHN’s New Perinatal Interprofessional Project Lead

Emeline Stevenson, TMCHN Perinatal IP Project Lead

We’re excited to share that Emeline (Eme) Stevenson has been appointed as the new Perinatal Interprofessional Project Lead at the Toronto Region Maternal and Child Health Network (TMCHN). In this role, Eme will be essential in leading the network’s continued engagement and growth in the perinatal sector, such as building connections across regional programs, identifying opportunities for network support and collaboration, and coordinating initiatives that advance shared priorities and improvements in perinatal care.

Eme brings a strong background in clinical education, project leadership, and quality improvement, with experience supporting pediatric and maternal-newborn programs.

In her previous role as a Clinical Nurse Educator at North York General Hospital, Eme led successful initiatives focused on strengthening clinical practice, staff competencies, and patient care through evidence-informed education and collaborative practice. Throughout her career, she has continued to advance care through partnership, education, and innovation, including developing competency-based programs, leading projects to expand nursing scope of practice, and collaborating across organizations on regional education initiatives.

Her experience working alongside maternal-newborn and perinatal health teams across the region brings a valuable and critical perspective to the TMCHN as we continue to strengthen relationships in this space and identify opportunities to support perinatal care across Toronto.
